Safeguarding
'Relationships are underpinned by a deep understanding of dignity and respect, creating an environment of safety and trust in which pupils thrive. Children feel safe, valued and empowered to grow.' SIAMS 2022
'The culture of safeguarding is strong.' OFSTED 2022
Elmley Castle First School recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice. Child protection forms part of the school’s safeguarding responsibilities.
Everyone places an important role in safeguarding children. Our school Safeguarding Leads are Mrs. Underwood and Mr. Jarvie. Our Safeguarding Governor is Mrs. Mandy Pask.
